YPAS fills Stiftskirche - Durnstein with the Sounds of Sacred Songs

The sun rose over the beautiful Danube and the YPAS students and guests found themselves in the charming town of Durnstein.

We wove our way through the vineyards and past apricot trues just beginning to bloom to the center of town. There they found plenty of shopping and many photo opportunities in the twist and turns of the city in the shadow of the castle ruins.
After a morning exploring the lovely town of Durnstein, Austria, the students of the YPAS Choir found their way along the labyrinth of streets to the monastery church of Durnstein. I caught one of them as she rushed in the door right before the performance. The atmosphere in the church was perfect for a few uplifting songs with the sun filtering in threw the windows over the alter.

They sung among the gilded icons of this lovely baroque church.
